Inventory Data Playbook
IMPORTANT UPDATE: The Inventory Data Playbook is being updated and moved. The Inventory Data Playbook has transitioned from a spreadsheet to a web-based app connected directly to ClearPath 2.0. It is available to platform users only via ClearPath 2.0's authentication system. The new app follows the same workflow as the spreadsheet version but guides users through a more intuitive process for preparing inventories, asking about protocol and the activities occurring within the boundary. It generates an import-ready spreadsheet along with an audit log of your inputs. This update also resolves a number of challenges users and ICLEI USA staff experienced with the spreadsheet version, including version control, compatibility issues, and other spreadsheet-related limitations.
This Data Playbook is designed to support the development of greenhouse gas inventories using ClearPath 2.0 platform. The Playbook is structured and standardized tool app that enables streamlined data entry, internal consistency, and automated import into ClearPath The app includes built-in tools, calculators, and sector-specific input tabs that guide users through the process of entering community-scale inventory data. It also accommodates users with limited data by offering estimation tools and clear pathways for record-keeping, quality assurance, and transparency.
